  INSTRUCTORS
Dr. Mandy Ruddock-Hudson  – Creator & Manager   

This program has been devised by Mandy who has 8 years of water exercise experience. Mandy, a Health Scientist, with Honours, has completed her PhD at LaTrobe University, while working as a consultant for the AFL Coaches Association.

 

Mandy implemented water exercise and assisted with recovery and rehabilitation programs for the Western Bulldogs Football Club and the Richmond Football Club.
It is a combination of Mandy’s academic qualifications and ‘real life’ experiences working with Australian Football players which assisted Mandy in refining the Water Resistance Training program.

This program now allows elite, amateur and recreational athletes to undertake a unique program to develop fitness, and assist rehabilitation and recover.

 
 
Luke Mackey – Instructor  
Luke is undertaking Sport and Exercise Science at Deakin University.  
Luke has an extensive background in strength and conditioning training and is closely affiliated with a number of sports teams. 

Luke is an elite hockey player and an integral member of the Water Resistance Training Program.


 
 
 
 Sarah Cattapan – Instructor  

Sarah is a teacher by trade working in mainstream schools and also special schools. Sarah brings enthusiasm and dedication to the program. Sarah, a mother of two, is an advocate for Water Resistance Training and was a regular particpant during her pregnancy to maintain her health and fitness.
